SOAR welcomed 106 volunteers from 11 different organizations including large groups from MegaCARE Missions (The Potter's House), Readers2Leaders, Bishop Lynch High School, and Hockaday Day School. These groups served a total of 500+ hours and worked in partnership with the Carr teachers to tackle major projects, including organizing the library, media storage room,  and book room, sorting curriculum, cleaning and sanitizing the computer lab, a complete make-over of the science lab, beautifying several classrooms, and giving a much-needed new coat of paint to about 20 benches around the campus. In addition, some of our volunteers tutored kids that attended Saturday school. It was truly a busy day!

THANK YOU to all our volunteers and the administration and staff of CF Carr! See you at the next Community Day!
