Up Close and Personal
Mentoring can appear to be, at first glance, a daunting responsibility. Few people think of themselves as worthy mentor material. The truth is, however, mentoring is not very complicated. No need for curriculum. No need for an agenda to structure the learning. Mentors need only a desire to connect with another person and a willingness to be transparent. God will use your transparency to enrich the world of another.
Years later, the people in whom you invest yourself will remember you with fond reverence and, hopefully, pass along your shared wisdom to others.
